Apple Music Radio Page Redesign

First, I chose to do this redesign because I and my friends have never used the Radio section of Apple Music. It seems, at least to me, to be in the forefront collecting dust, when it could be a subsection on the Listen Now page. I thought to replace the Radio page with a Vibe/Mood page. This page will play music that has been previously tagged by the user, themself, or by data gathered from other Apple music users, into the categories given or made (Happy, Fired Up, Chill, Afro-Beats).

Taking this approach would not only give a more personal feel/experience to an app that seems to be lacking in that regard, but it would also allow the radio page to continue existing, though in a less prominent position.

I’ve also added an alternate Apple music icon that’s made of 4 out of my favorite albums. I’d suggest replacing those 4 album covers with the top 4 albums of the month. By doing so, artists will have added incentive to use Apple Music. (Getting their album to be the literal face of Apple music)

Listeners will also feel more connected to Apple Music as them listening to their favorite artists and albums gives the projects more recognition. I see this increasing the chances of gaining customer loyalty and continued subscriptions. It could potentially join the ranks of trends like the Spotify "Yearly Rewind," with users posting and discussing the albums on social media, like Twitter, TikTok, or Instagram.
